This summer has been very different from all the summers that we have experienced so far, but there is one thing that does not change and that is that the elastic band from my old swimsuit still does not work, and that I have gained weight, to fix this problem I have I got a thick cotton cord that has allowed me to swim without problems. The biggest problem came when I was thrown from the boat, which normally would leave me without a swimsuit when hitting the water. This year I’m going to have to buy a pair of swimsuits because this old swimsuit, even though it still works, won’t last much longer.

 

During all this summer I have not gone even once to the beach, and not because I did not want to go but as a precaution, because I did not want to have people around that I do not know at all and I do not know how each one is taking care of themselves. And from what they have told me, it seems to me that I have done well because I think that people were on the beach as if nothing was happening and that is something that I cannot accept. Luckily my friend who has the boat always calls me to go with him whenever he takes the boat out. At this point I can already say that I am the official sailor of your ship, since I am in charge of everything that is not driving the boat, I am in charge of mooring and untying the lines when we leave the dock and when we dock again. But I am also in charge of the anchor, unfortunately we do not have a motor to raise and lower the anchor, so I have to raise the anchor by hand whenever we drop it.

 

The time that I did not spend on the boat this summer, I preferred to go to a mountain that I know well and where it was easy to separate from all the people there and be able to enjoy nature without anyone coming to bother me every two by three.

 

Fortunately, it seems that the summer of next year will go back to being like all the others with the help of the vaccines that are being developed and that it seems that they will soon be available.
